Killzone 2 Marathon

so i had a little marathon of KILLZONE 2 online and just the campgain so the other night tried the online and loved and i haven't played online since warhawk no game has intrested me online and killzone 2 has made me come back to online gaming and i am just loving it i love playing online. the single play game is just awesome and i loving it but the online is just great but even better but i think this has to be my fav online game so far. but i just had a marathon when i started the single player and got through a level then went online becuase after the night before had so much fun and wanted to level up and god it was fun and its to get into a game. had so much fun then played some more of the story and the rest of the day spent playing online which i have never did and after my had was very sore. so yeah i am hoping i can play some of my online friends and if you don't have me on the PSN you can always add me to play killzone 2 just add insanegamer66 so yeah and i am not that good but with each game i seem to be getting better so yeah. also can't wait for killzone in LBP.

See they are making are Yogi Bear movie man i loved that show as a kid, its going to be 3d could be cool or it could suck but i am hoping its good just for my childhood.


also i am curious about the new street fighter i know it will probally suck but i still wanna see it it can't be worse then the first one can it ?

Killzone 2 is here

so guess what i got today yes Killzone 2 and i love it when i put the disk in and had the controller in my hands i was excited and i am not a big FPS guy i like them but don't love them but i do love this game. first when i started i the intro showing we going to the war and who your character is. and bloddy hell when you start playing it awesome it tokk about 10 mins to get use to the controls but now im good with them but the graphics are awesome, i was blown away. also driving the tank was cool. got 2 trophies already and just having so much fun with this game and i can't wait to play more of this game and i actully like the story it feels like a popcorn war film and i love the swearing it suits the universe. i haven't been online but i can't wait to get online i am thinking this will be my online game that i will play every week. just a game i am having so far but i don't want any FPS for a while i am sick of FPS but i will be playing this for a while and won't be playing any games for a while. so they are my thoughts so far and it isn't a review so be nice.

some other stuff- so i was reading about the new PSP that could be coming ou and god i hope that is true because i will be getting that but it looks so good also read it on Brad's facebook page, also the other day i read about all these new PSP games so i am thinking its time to pick up a PSP, i think i just might buy a new PSP and get all these games coming out so its time to get a PSP which model should i get ? also i so want this artbook. so i am getting a 360 but i don't know when but i have decided i will be getting this one its the red one and seems like a good one worth getting. also i have been looking back on my old gamespot blogs and noticed i did crap blogs at the start and i wrote about me getting my PS3 that was my first blog and was only one sentence long i have noticed i have come along way and i didn't know what blogging was back then.

Before Killzone 2......

Before Killzone 2 i have been trying to compete some other games like Bioshock probally wont happen, GTA4 (which lost and the damned was on the PS3) but trying to get all the trophies and also probally won't happen. with Fallout 3 i just want to finish story but i still have a while to finish it. also i want back to a PS2 game Fahrenheit because i never finished it and got it back recently my father was playing it because he was down here for a while before he moved up to the mines. so this is all i have been playing until i get killzone 2

so i was reading this article how its talking about how songle player/ single playing is dying. and i say i don't think so and i hope not because first in games i play games because of the story and if they have a good single play but 2nd to me is the online sure i just bought warhawk for the online because its an only online games but i am a single player gamer and i love to play games online. but i always love to play games single player and i don't think single player will die but if it does my gaming life will die.

so i have noticed i haven't been watching many shows latley but the 2 shows i have been watching Is Underbelly: a tale of two cites and Burn Notice. these would be my 2 fav shows on tv and the only shows i watch on TV right now and sometimes Law and Order because i love cop strories. but lets start with Burn Notice a show staring an old Bruce Campbell as spy who wouldn't love he is not the main guy but he is the 2nd major character and i love burn notice. its a cool spy show.

Underbelly is an awesome show and is my number 1 show i get excited to watch every week. i just love the story and the best Australian tv show and i just the actors and the characters in the show there are so many but they a great and i am reading the books right now.

also i found a pic from the new Tekken film and it looks cool but its one pic so i hope they release teaser or something.

then 3 posters for Inglorious Basterds are out, the best one is the Basbeall Bat which is the bear Jew's weapon of choice played by Eli Roth so looking forward to this movie.

Captain America is moving that will be coming out over the next couple of years and the question is who will be Captain America and the Rumors going around is neal Mcdomough will be him and if he im cool with that lets hope its true.

The Crazies Remake is a movie im excited since i love the orginal but it could do with a mdern spin on it and it has one wicked poster.

also i hate the news about Deadpool in the wolverine movie i really don't wait to write about because its just to depressing for any fan of Deadpool oh well not excited about Wolverine now.

finally Inglorious Basterds Posters and they are wicked cool its show what way this movie will be and looking at the posters it will be brutal and thats what i want from a QT and a WW2 movie, so i am looking forward to it. can't wait for this movie.



my fav one is with the baseball bat it just looks so cool, it shows a lot of NAZI'S will die, so i am already excited these posters make me want to see it now i can't wait to see it and i am looking forward to see Eli Roth in this his character is just brutal by the sounds of it.

Movie Diary: Blood and Dollars

so i am going to do a new feature for my blog which i'm calling Movie Diary where i will give short reviews of movie i watched that week or something like that.

my bloody valentine - so i was going into this movie expecting a lot of people dying and lot of cool death scenes. it sucked i couldn't watch it 3D because my local theater didn't have it in 3D the next theater to me that was playing it in 36 was a 6 hour dive and i really didn't have time for a 6 hour drive. but anyway loved the film great deaths, there was nudity which should be in a horror film and a great twist you never expect who is the killer at the end just loved it and i love how the set up for anothe rone and i hope there is one of the better remakes now i can't wait to see friday the 13th remake. - 9/10

the king of kong - i have been seeing this movie for a while or doco about the video game donkey kong it was a great story and after seeing it i hate billy mitchell. but god i liked it and the poor guy who beat his score and can't have it count sucks man. one for the gamers out there - 9/10

For a few dollars more - i watched this movie last night and loved it, its not as good as the good, the bad and ugly but its great. i really like the villian in this its just great - 9/10

thanks to everyone comments on should i get street fighter 4 and it helped i will be getting Street Fighter 4 soon hopefully next week or something like that but who knows so yeah. but i have been hearing good things and the reviews have been great.

Should i get Street Fighter IV ?

so Street Fighter IV comes out in the next couple of days and i am really thinking about getting it but should i is the question and i will make some points and you can help me decide.

1. i have the money so i can afford
2. this would be my first brand new game of 2009
3. i am a street fighter fan but haven't played a street fighter game in 10 years
4. i am not great at fighting games but maybe 4 will get me back into them.
   
5. the game just looks great
6. i really need a fighting game in my collection and by the reviews this one might be for me.
7. i think i am going to have to get arcade stick for this game and i won't get one of them for a couple of weeks unless i can find a cheap one.
   

Now For the Australians who read my Blog i want an arcade stick because i know its hard to play with the PS3 Control so i want to know where is the best place to get the cheapest Arcade stick ?

wii or 360 ?

so this week i have been thinking in the next couple of months to get a New Console. so its between a 360 and Wii.

lets start with the 360 i will end up getting a 360 but there are few thing keeping me getting this next, i give it has some great exclusives and good online but then you have to pay for online and the hardware can't be trusted.

so i made a list of games what i want on the 360 the most -

1. Fable 2 - well this RPG game looks fun and i have played a bit of it and was fun as hell when i played it and i would love to play more because what i did play wanted me to play the whole thing.

2. Dead Rising - well i played some of this as well but i had a lot of fun and i would love to play this game from start and finish and looking forward to the 2nd one.


3.Mass Effect - i haven't played this game but what i have seen and the reviews it looks good and its good the 2nd one coming to the PS3 but i really want to play more of the first one.

4. Alan Wake - i don't know when this is coming out but ever since i saw the first video i have been impressed and one of the reasons why i would want a 360.

so with the Wii the only thing is putting me off is the games on the wii, there are not many calling my name but i think this will be my next console and here are some games i want.

1. Mad World - well just look at the trailers, this game looks so good killing people and a guy with a chainsaw for a arm and in black and whit kind of like sin city i am hoping to get a wii around the same time of this game.

2. House Of The Dead: Overkill - just look at the trailers, look at the gore and this just looks so cool and has the grindhouse feel to it.

3. Broken Sword: Directors Cut - well this is a directors cut for one of my fav point and click games so i might just have to pick this up.

4. sam and max: Season One - i love sam and max and havn't played any of the ones on the pc so this might be a great option for me.

5. Zack and Wiki - this game looks fun i have never played it but i have heard good things about this game.

PS. also i like the Resident Evil 5 Uber pack i hope i can pack this pack up because i say that its worth it.

Inglorious Basterds

I loved it, just everything about it is awsome, it has tarantino style all over it. just from the start seeing Eli Roth (the man who directed both hostel films) is some crazy Solider you see that creepy smile on his face when Pitt talks about killing Nazi's and then you have him with a basball bat to the had of some Nazi, now this is a WW 2 movie and i can tell this will be R rated and this is Taarantino.

now onto Brad Pitt i have never been a big fan of him but i have becoming a fan of after Jesse James, but in this he looks and speaks so awsome, that speech he gives at the start of the Trailer is just awsome and sounds like what Tarantino what would do. hust awsome about him and his men killing Nazi's and i love how he says Nazi's.

there are even more characters in the trailer the Ryan from the office is in it and hitler makes an appearance in the trailer which is so cool i love the tone from this trailer. it looks like it will be a hard R which i expect from Tarantino.

but all i want now is more but i am so looking forwad to this now and i can't wait for it now, i will be there day 1 when this opens because i love Tarantino his movies rule and i will watch anything he is involved with.

this could end up my fav ww2 movie and and with it coming out in August i can't wait for it with all the characters and story which sounds kick ass in this i really can't wait for it. i can't wait to see this movi and to see more stuff come out because i will take anything from Tarantino.

Dead Basterds

so it's coming Dead Rising 2 yes thats right and bloody hell by the screens looks good. so its coming for the PS3, 360 and PC and i am excited for it because this time its years after the first game and a new lead character and it takes place in the casino and i can see having a lot of fun with this game. so looking forward to this.


so they had a teaser for Inglorious Basterds and i was excited and now i am over the moon for this movie, with Tarantino directing and having written it of cause i would be seeing it and now seeing a teaser i am so pumped, seeing brad pitt in his role is so awesome and Eli Roth (director of hostel part 1 and 2) looking so cool. so we have jewish soliders killing nazis's and cutting of the scalps i am all for. just looks good and it looks like my kind of ww2 movie so i will be seeing this day one.

so i bought 2 books when i was downtown clothes shopping (which i hate) i had a quick look at some books since i havent bought a book in a year. so i saw Underbelly: tale of two cites so i had to buy that and Underbelly: the gangland war which i have just started to read which is about the first season of underbelly and onec i have finished that i will go onto a tale of two cities and thats a great story.

so monday night Underbelly: A tale of two cities aired and i loved it, it was great i love the 70's vibe and seeing the rise of Mr Asia it was just great and the murders are just brutal. not as much sex and broke Australian tv records which is awesome back in the day this show wouldn't get a chance and now it can and its good to see that. i loved everything about the 2 hour premier and seeing all the chaarcters being introuduced and killed and its looks by the previews even more is to come which i can't wait for. just everything about this show is great, the pacing the whole thing i am looking forward to the next ep's. 10/10

Shellshock 2 + Transformers 2 + Red Dead + Bale Blowup + RE5

so after my last blog about Final Fantasy i relised i wasn't the only one who isn't excited about Final Fantasy 12 so thats good.

so i was browsing the net and i found some info about the new Shellshock 2 and it looks like it ha zombies in it now thats cool but its weird since the first one didn't have zombies there totally this game in a different direction. i liked the first game and i know a lot of people didn't but it just seems odd to add zombies to this game and i woud have rather it been called something else.

so they had the transformers 2 teaser trailer on the superbowl and i liked it and i think it looks better then the first one. i like what i see but i still don't like Michael Bay (he is a hack). (link)

Red Dead Redemption is look good its good to see finally red dead back and i am happy about this and this has to go on my list of games to buy. finally a western i do hope they put some Spaghetti western elements would be cool. (link)

Resident Evil demo Thoughts

so i downloaded the Resident Evil 5 demo becuase its one i really wanted to play before the game comes out and well i thought it was good and i am a Resident Evil fan but there problems but i wil talk about what i like. but i never played 4 so last one i played was resident evil 3.

the good

* the graphic are just amazing
* the blood is great
*story feels great.
* some of the new stuff is good
* the dude with the axe is cool
*chainsaw guy is scary

the bad
* the controls are not great but i am trying to get use to them
* how it doesn't pause when you wants to in your weapon menu.
* how you have a person with you and she sucks
* she is annoying and if she dies its all over
* not enough bullets
* fire doesn't look that good

so thats my thoughts on the game , overall i liked the game it may not be the best game and they are totallly changing the Resident Evil series but i will still be buying it. but i am going to play this demo a bit more but my thoughts my change before the game comes out but right now i will be buying this game.

no special edition in Australia for Resident evil 5, so that sucks.
